Who We Are
Red Hot Riders of San Diego, California. Our motorcycle club is a local chapter of the Honda Riders Club of America (HRCA), sponsored by the Southern California Motorcycling Association (SCMA) and the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and local District 38.

The goal of the Red Hot Riders is simple: to enjoy riding our motorcycles safely with friends. We are also a philanthropic organization that donates funds and effort to support various community individuals and organizations. Expect to enjoy new experiences and make memories with new friends, plus catch up with your old friends. We are open to all makes of bikes.

If you are already a member of HRCA, SCMA, and/or AMA, you know that your membership offers you more benefits and peace of mind than have ever before been available to a motorcyclist. In joining a local chapter of these great national associations, you will be able to expand even further the benefits of owning your motorcycle. However, you need not be a member of these national associations to become a member of the Red Hot Riders.

History
The Red Hot Riders motorcycle club was formed in February of 1994 and showed just how "hot" we really can be by receiving the award for raising the most money for a club at the Dana Point "Ride for Kids" charity event in March of that year. Since then, the Club has continued to be a major contributor at many other events.

Events
We are very proud of our Baby Butt 1000, an endurance ride started in 1994 that asks its riders to travel 1,000 miles in a day. This event is sanctioned by the Iron Butt Association has been so popular that participation is limited and sells out well in advance.The ride takes place each fall and starts in San Diego. read more >>>

Track days are held periodically during the year, allowing all riders an opportunity to sharpen their riding skills in a controlled environment. These events are very popular with riders of all types of bikes, and a lot of fun. read more >>>

The Club holds monthly rides and also meets on the second Wednesday of every month at at Giovanni's Restaurant; 9353 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard San Diego, 92123; (858) 279-6700; at the corner of Ruffin Road and Clairemont Mesa Blvd. North of the "Q", South of the 52, East of the 163, and West of I-15 for dinner at 6:00pm and at 7:00pm for our monthly meeting. These meetings are not only meant to bring the members up to date on Club happenings, but are also like a show and tell. Bring your favorite motorcycle toy and share it with us. If you happen to miss the meeting, you can stay in touch with the Club's activities by receiving our newsletter.

The motorcycle club has already attracted a number of San Diego members with great ideas on how to keep the Club informative and exciting. We welcome all riders and motorcycle enthusiasts, and we're sure your participation will help make being a member a great deal of fun.

Also, once you're a member, don't forget to take advantage of the many cost saving benefits of your membership. These benefits include substantial storewide discounts at selected San Diego motorcycle dealers. You may find that the cost of owning your motorcycle just got a little cheaper.
