Newsflash

Here is a complete list of Participants for the 2006 SBA Sport 1000.

For riders that completed the route and turned in all 10 receipts (or pictures), we are submitting those names to the Iron Butt Association as 2006 SBA Sport 1000 finishers, which will qualify as a SaddleSore event, and is your ticket into the Iron Butt Association. For other riders that failed to get all 10 receipts, but who completed at least 1000 miles in 24 hours or less, we can work directly with you to help qualify for an individual SaddleSore and thus gain your membership into the IBA. Contact us if you have any questions or corrections on the information here.

Weather Map - 2006/06/27 15:07 For a while there I thought I saw what was to be a weather map. It went away, leading me to believe I need a plugin (not another plugin ) so I can see the map. True or is my IE broken?

Re:Weather Map - 2006/06/27 16:48 I posted some weather forecast info in simple text format in the "Events" section of the website. I'll update it as we get closer as the 10-day forecast only gets us to July 7 at this point. Needless to say, expect it to be warm and dry.

Ask and he shall receive, updates for Saturday Weather are:
Code:

             City             High      Low            Lancaster        103f      72 f            Fresno           102f      71 f            Sonora           100f      62 f            Pinecrest        88 f      57 f            Hollister        80 f      54 f            Avenal           102f      73 f            Maricopa         98 f      72 f            Santa Paula      84 f      61 f

So, looks like the low will be around 54, and the high just north of 100. Keep in mind we are going through the hottest areas early morning. Early afternoon you will be in cooler temperatures in the mountains, and then the trip back down California further west should see milder overnight temps.

Don't bother packing your rain gear, I'll go out on a limb and say you won't need it
